One Lucky Lady

With an Irish/Scottish heritage, St. Patrick’s Day is one of our favorite holidays. Before kids, we’d spend it at Kegs ‘n Eggs, the parade and tucked away drinking green beer and Irish car bombs. St. Patty’s Day may be a little different these days, but we still love it and all of the shenanigans around it.

This year, I decided to spread some cheer to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. After a cold, dreary winter, I was ready to see some of my favorite people. I whipped up a few batches of cupcakes and gave them a St. Patty’s Day makeover. I used Rolos for the pots of gold and Airheads Xtremes Candy strips for the rainbows. A few white clouds tied it all together.

I ordered new cupcake liners and boxes to display the cupcakes. I wanted something sleek and simple that wouldn’t be distracting to the cupcake. I found perfect tulip papers and brown cupcake boxes on Amazon. I put the cupcakes in, but they were still missing something. They needed a little note, a little love. So, I created a sticker to add to the boxes. I had Avery stickers at home, so I designed a quick message on Canva. I printed and stuck them on the boxes for the finishing touch. Ahhh, I love them!

Do you want to spread some cheer this St. Patty’s Day? Here’s all you need:
